Rhymes play an essential role in the development of a child. Other than the learning part the kids bond with their parent, care giver or teacher when you sing together, and rhymes are something the child gets the most involved in. Making different expressions and sounds while singing nursery rhymes keeps the child engrossed and happy.
So, right from the birth we can start singing nursery rhymes to our children and also start reading to them, which will make them good readers later.
